"An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind"
Anger is a strong emotion, but how its expressed can lead to the wrong actions. It is not to be confused with Domestic Violence, as Domestic Violence has other components which can lead to physical and verbal abuse.
Anger Management (AM) classes are ordered by the courts for any number of reasons which would be considered mandatory classes. Anger management classes can also be taken without any mandatory requirements, such as for personal growth, or at the request of an individual, employer, or relative. They may also be ordered by the probation department, as a component of a plea bargain, or for minor law violations. Community Intervention & Educational Services offers a structured program in a group setting which offers a chance for clients to learn alternative avenues to deal with their anger in a non-violent or non-aggressive manner.
In order to get started with our process you just need to do the following:
- Call our office during office times and set up your assessment. (336) 776-0322
- Once you have completed your assessment, you will then be asked which class session you want to attend.
- You will then start your session either the week you sign up or the following week.
- You must then follow the rules that have been given to you upon completion of your assessment.
